The goal of this gated video is to educate prospects on our offerings — to help them understand exactly what Intercom does. For this video, I'm responsible for everything from project kickoff (when it's update time) and stakeholder management to scripting, script editing, recording voice-overs, and video production, which requires serious graphic design chops. I also track analytics and report on them regularly. "Intro to Intercom" has garnered more than 31k views in 11 months.

I was responsible for working with cross-functional partners to understand the nuances of a new FY23 Q2 product element, drafting the script, circulating it to stakeholders, incorporating feedback into the document, getting final sign-off, and then launching into video production. Beyond excellent production skills, the project demanded a firm grasp of the (pretty complex) feature, as well as excellent communication skills for when I sent updates to the many stakeholders involved in this project. ​

While at the American Planning Association, where I worked for more than eight-and-a-half years, I created many videos featuring members of the urban and regional planning organization. Before APA's annual fall advocacy event in Washington, D.C., a marketing colleague and I conducted interviews over Zoom with five planning advocates who were attending the conference. I then produced a hype video for the event with clips of these five interviews. ​
